Breakfast - Day 3 Parmesan Egg for One |

![]() This simple little recipe comes is a culinary delight as you start Day 3 of the 5 Day Pouch Test. You can, of course, use egg substitute in place of the egg and egg white, if you prefer. Ingredients: 1 tablespoon butter, melted 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, freshly grated 1 large egg 1 egg white 1 tablespoon half-and-half, fat free Directions: Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Butter an individual ramekin, then dust with 1/2 the cheese. Break egg and egg white into ramekin and cover with cream. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan. Bake 10-15 minutes until white is set. Serves 1. Per serving: 248 calories, 14g protein, 20g fat (11 saturated), 3g carbohydrate. |
I never thought if cooking an egg this way. I guess it makes for more of a custard than a scrambled egg. sounds interesting. I am anxious to give it a try in 2 days.
